It was a lovely morning when I woke up! It was so cool, and I love it.
That's the coolest it's been so far this fall. Don't you just love the cooler weather? I actually turned the heat on today! The changing of the seasons always reminds me that nothing ever stays the same. For that, we should be grateful. While it does mean that good things don't last as long as we might like, it also means bad things won't stay forever.
This week is Week #2 at the gym. I started back last week at a wonderful local gym, in a major effort to get healthy. So far, I am really enjoying it. I struggle to get up with my alarm currently, but I know it's an adjustment that is worth it to me.
I have 2 sweaters going. One is a bulky weight (Cascade Eco+) in what they call "Fuchsia". I am using the Winter League Pullover pattern. It's a little snug at the moment, but with the way things are going, it won't be for long (I hope).
The second one is the Ooey Gooey sweater, but in worsted weight. I upped the needle size and am making a smaller size.
I am still on the yoke right now, but it does fit over my head. It's also my first real attempt at colorwork. The larger gauge is easier to get the tension right for me.
Both of these are no-nos. I cast on both WITHOUT a gauge swatch. So far though, I can wear them. I can make needed adjustments since they are both top down.
Are you enjoying the changing seasons? Tell me what's going on with you!

It's good to see you posting again! Me and my DH are getting ready for the Northern winter. :-). We aren't looking forward to the snow, but we will be ready. Crafting has slowed a bit for me.
